Sergio's Tales Architecture student, 19.

ghostdeities asked: What made you decide to choose to study architecture as opposed to anything else?

Ahm… at first I wanted to study Industrial Design, because I saw myself designing furniture or small spaces. I had an amazing aunt who was an architect (she died like 10 years ago) so my family told me about how great this career was and I decided to give it a chance.

Only studying architecture I realized that what I actually wanted was to be able to model and modify space. That you can do by designing a little set of tea cups, a chair, a table, a house, a piece of clothing or a huge building… and all of that is possible if you’re an architect. No matter the scale, if you’re an architect, you have a different point of view, a poetical and extremely sensitive way of producing things, and with that, you learn to modify things, space.

I hope I didn’t make my answer way too long or boring :) thanks for asking!
